Does your active child enjoy creative projects? Are you looking for a summer experience designed to build positive relationships, channel boundless energy, and increase focus in a supportive environment? The Mindful Magic club is here to help!
Mindful Magic is a hands-on fun environment for kids to explore and create while enhancing their executive functioning skills. Our weeks together will include unique art projects, games, and dynamic discussion to promote flexible thinking, planning and self-monitoring while expressing creativity. Each session will follow a similar structure that includes mindfulness practices, movement games, and hands-on projects.

Anna Cait is a third year PhD student in School Psychology at Fordham University. She has worked as an educator for the past five years with students of every age. Most recently, she has been working as a teacher at the Spence School. Her academic research centers on adolescent girl’s development, positive discipline, and racial-ethnic identity. Anna Cait applies this knowledge base into her summer clubs by integrating “brain-based” strategies to learning and understanding each student’s intrinsic motivation. Anna Cait is trained in Collaborative & Proactive Solutions, a non-adversarial approach to addressing challenging behavior and is a certified yoga and mindfulness instructor with 500 hours of training. She brings her passion for mindfulness practices to the Mindful Magic club!
