Q1: Which one sounds more like you?

I always have a good sense of what time of day it is. No need for a sun dial here.

Without a watch or phone, it could be anywhere from 10am to 4pm. Wait, it’s dark out already?

Q2: When asked about you, would your friends be more likely to agree with a or b?

I text that I am on my way, three minutes out, while standing in my bath towel getting water on my phone.

Punctuality is key. Late is a minute after our agreed upon meeting time.

Q3: If I have to study or get some work done, I usually:

Estimate the appropriate amount of time needed to complete my tasks.

Complain that everything takes five times longer than anticipated while I humbly request an extension.

Q4: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Who knows? I live in the moment and don’t plan for the future.

I like imagining what the future holds. I have a forward-looking plan with goals that builds on my past experiences.

Q5: Which one more accurately describes you?

If I follow my coach’s instructions, I have several alarms on my phone each day. Without them, I would forget to take medication, keep appointments, and complete tasks and other activities in my day-to-day.

Remembering when to do things is second nature to me. Alerts and alarms are there as my back-up plan, but I don’t need them.

Q6: What describes you better?

I consult and update my calendar and agenda multiple times per day. Knowing where I need to be, when I need to be there, and what I need to do each day and week is important for planning, prep, and my peace of mind.

I had a planner once but I accidentally left it on the subway, and I haven’t figured out how to use iCal yet.

Q7: If someone asked you how long your commute to work or school takes, you would reply with:

The exact number of minutes and the standard buffer I plan for train delays and construction detours.

That is a tough question to answer, especially since I am usually late!
